I typed a similar comment and then deleted it. HD is in the business of making money, that’s it. They’re no different than any other major brand.  HD doesn’t care about DEI any more than Bud Light did.  They care about money.  That’s it.  Money.

You can certainly debate the merits of allowing Starlink, but the idea of using LEO satellites to deliver internet was innovative and transformative for satellite internet. The Starlink satellites are in VLEO and will deorbit on their own within a few years, so they don’t result in a permanent “space junk” problem

I don’t get it - please explain how Space X is a shitshow? They are the leading rocket company in the world, by a longshot, with overwhelming positive statistics in regards to launches and reliability.

For all his problems, Elon hasn’t managed to ruin SpaceX. It’s actually been incredibly successful. In fact, the only reason why we aren’t worried about the astronauts being stranded permanently is the fact that the SpaceX dragon (the one that 10 years ago everyone assumed would fly after the Starliner) has proven to

I’m starting to think it was subcontracted out to the Cybertruck team

What is your alternative punishment?

a hydrogen leak left them stranded in orbit

series of small but persistent helium leaks

Good for them. I probably would’ve killed myself three days in.

Here I was, thinking they finally salvaged the Ekranoplan wreckage from the beaches of the Caspian Sea.

Alternate title:  Hail described as snow in antiquated, archaic NWS reports, and it hailed during a summer storm, so absolutely nothing unusual happened but we need clicks so let’s bullshit this story as much as possible.

The misleading photo is no way to present a story. You are part of the problem.

I mean, I hate it, but it kind of works in a horrible over the top way, in that it’s fully committed to being all gaudy and bad.

“Guys”, plural? Maybe improve your vetting process? Maybe have a look at “good guys” and not “bad boys”?

Exactly. I thought it was bad that my dad cared much more for his second wife than me, but being married to a man who views his precocious car as much more important than his wife & child and the 13 year old who saved said child has to be awful. Clearly the man has Narcissistic Personality Disorder...

Yup. That was their big selling point when they were introduced. At full throttle, they will run out of gas in 15 minutes.

Major online car site doesn’t understand how Dukes of Hazzard is an everlasting part of the car culture?

I’m sure Elon Musk also ate breakfast today and a Cybertruck owner somewhere did something if you’d like to report on that, too.

I notice there are no Goldwings. I suspect a well tuned GL1800 would mop the floor with a Harley.

I watched one of these races on YouTube. During the victory lap, the winner’s bike broke down (chain broke?).

I wished they allowed the Goldwing bagger into the race.  <kicks pebble>
