I love the 996 too :) They had to modernize the car eventually. It was either water cooled 911 or no 911. It is something that a lot of people miss.

“To the engineers around Weissach, the answer is really quite simple: How it’s made. How it’s proven. And most important, how well it works.”
Suprised wasn’t insured with comprehensive.
Is this a completely bespoke engine, or based on a Porsche 911 block?
How much do I have to pay over sticker to get one?
I see American stupidity is spreading to Canada!!!
It may be as dangerous, but certainly not more. This guy is facing felony charges for a driving incident that didn’t result in a loss of life.
This guy is facing worse charges than a DUI in that state, somehow that doesn’t seem right to me.
$145k msrp is a misnomer, every dealer I contacted in NYC area wanted at least at least $20k market adjustment... some had minimum option requirements. Great car for $145k, but the market puts this car in direct competition with 570s. Which is in another league, with carbon chassis etc.
Corporations are retarded, if my name is taken by someone else @yahoo.com e-mail address, do I sue them too because I wasn’t first?
Charging someone with felony over this seems silly to me. Kid is 21 and if convicted will never be able to get work etc. Yes I understand people got hurt... but a felony? C’mon...
I hope the driver of that ford has enough liability to cover the cost of that prototype.
PRETTY SURE THAT’S A TOYOTA BRO!!!
Title is such a clickbait... article decent, enjoyed the read.
Lol, as long as this advertising pays the bills and keeps the site up and running. What’s next... “personal massagers?”...

I like it, just hope there are some serious safety improvements. 2 star Euro NCAP is embarrassing.
As I found out, no... but if you have German marks laying around, you are still good to go.
Yeah I missed the news, but if you got some German Marks laying around, at least you can still exchange that.
100 million Italian Lira is about $50,000... $50,000 is way more useful than a vehicle that can get up to 366 miles away from the Californian border.
I remember my son being pissed after college, cause Boeing has 3.6 gpa requirement. I remember telling him, if that’s how they looking for new hires, I bet you wouldn’t want to see the bureaucracy behind closed doors.
