It’s an outstanding show. You should continue to watch it - Caviezel is definitely not even close to being the best character or actor on that show. Amy Acker, Sarah Shahi, Taraji Henson, Kevin Chapman, Michael Emerson, and lots of others all deserve your continued attention

spoiler: it’s actually copaganda shit with a mild sci-fi spin to disguise that fact

I disagree; I think Caviezel is underrated in his performance. Yes, he’s wooden. But his small gestures are powerful: in particular, he provides a lot of deadpan humour (that most actors in that role would oversell), and he also brings an affecting level of pathos a lot of the time (though I’d agree that it works best

I found it genuinely tragic how in the final season  John’s purpose basically became saving Shaw and protecting Harold. He and Root both didn’t really want anything for themselves any more, or think they deserved more than the fates they knew they had coming to them

Person of Interest is one of my all time favorite shows. John was like my 9th favorite character on it, but he was fine. The av club reviews and forums for it were great, after they got over their annoying decision to drop coverage during the first season because the reviewer thought it was just a boring procedural.

Of course this just HAD to happen when I’m watching through Person of Interest for the first time. It’s actually quite good.

Overloading a system with false reports is a great strategy in general, because anything that ties up the time of actual humans is really limiting to the overall capacity.

Aside from being a fantastically fun movie, definitely also featured one of the greatest soundtracks of the decade, no question. Pemberton went down as one of the unsung heroes of the 10's music scene, and I’ll always give stuff like this a boost, because my god is it good, with

So basically your theory is that you’re smart and everyone else is dumb.

This is a show where we’ve seen that people have literal auto-aiming guns but the only time the villains ever get to use them is when Maeve can just hack them (in a rare moment of using any of her abilities).

I hated this season.  To quote Dolores:  “Doesn’t look like anything to me.”

The only reason I’m largely dismissing Clementine is that she had already been lobotomized. Throughout S2 there was no her to her, she was just a machine who did what she was told.

My money’s on Old Man Jenkins, who owns the abandoned amusement park on the outskirts of town.

I say it’s gotta be Maeve’s daughter. (Apologies for repeating a point I made in another thread). When Charlotte has her first conversation with Dolores, she seems like a child who has woken up in an adult body. It’s also consistent with so much else about fake-Charlotte— her combination of curiosity and extreme

The scenes didn’t feel like they had a flow, but were more just self-contained mini episodes.

I’m split 50/50 between “a copy of Teddy spliced over Charlotte Hale’s recorded data” and “a copy of Dolores spliced into Hale’s data”. I feel like they would have teased it more if it was William’s data spliced with Charlotte.

The way they shown it in the first episode I assumed Caleb was either injured during his military service or shot during the same crime his best friend was killed. And since his bank robbery associates mention his drip is military I suspect he was fitted with it for combat missions. Amping your hormones at will is

Weird that you bring up Hector as an option but not Armistice, given that Charlotte 2 was compulsively scratching patterns into her skin.
