The heater in the shop gave up and it was about-40C outside so the floor inside stayed a little warmer. Yes it gets that cold someplaces.

The drain plug broke after it was pulled out, the oil was drained, and when it was put back in after sitting on a -30C shop floor. Need to be quick to ensure the pan and plug stay warm.
I don't dissagree but do agree that plastic drain plug never sounds like a good idea.
Change all the fluids, check air pressure in tires and belts, check the lights, and most importantly, insure good driving tunes!
Totally, I mean Tavarish really shows us what to look for and getting a car for 90% off its original sticker price is awesome.
I agree with that but a lot of the cars Tavarish gets are pretty high in mile count. I don't disagree that majority of what Doug needed to do would be simple had he taken off the Birkenstock's, but a lot of cars will likely need suspension or transmission fixes which are pretty tough to do in your driveway.
This is a big thing I have thought to myself while reading a lot of these articles. Granted I know Tavarish has done this quite a few times before and I know you can get some great deals used but unless you are a mechanic or someone who can rebuild an engine I get worried buying a car that someone could of rat bagged.
So many options:
How do you figure? I'm pretty north myself.
My friend has recently joined the RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) and sent me a picture of "Sorry" spray painted on the side of almost all the bigger bombs (sorry I'm not sure what they actually were).
This. This made me laugh.
I really love Hennessey for the fact that they seem to live in a video game world. Every good racing game I have ever played took a stock car and added some ungodly pieces in the form of turbos, superchargers, ECU's and exhaust to make something radical and fun. That is exactly was Hennessey does with every project.
