I think it was Turok on N64 that my parents had to get for me, my dad was blown away that they made games that were not just for kids and he had to buy. It seems games (and their content) have grown up with us.

And again the parents will blame the video game as they spend more time with the girl at the Starbucks drive-thru then their own children.

Its a very true point, I think the COD sales would be at least halved if only people 18+ had the game. I see kids outside game stores looking for a "boot" to get the new Mature rated game, big difference from kids in my time trying to get beer and smokes.

So is it possible for an independent electronic store to get the same model of tv as Best Buy or Wal-Mart? If the independent had a huge sale would Best Buy have to then honour the price?

My brother was a buyer for a large furniture store that is infamous for giving away "free" tv's with a mattress or furniture set. A $1200 Italian leather couch only cost them about 280-300 dollars and they get the tv at a little over cost. So they still make a ton of dough.

Living in the Canadian Rockies pretty much means I need a good truck. Would like to see the stats on if you would save money by moving to a diesel truck, taking into consideration the cost of fuel, higher purchase price of diesel vehicle, and fuel economy.
