Agreed. It’s gotten ridiculous. To quote someone I know on tumblr when discussing women bashing other women for liking popular or feminine things:

Of course we still have it good. That doesn’t mean it’s okay to be misogynistic toward white women. Just like it’s not acceptable, for example, to be racist toward black men because they have male privilege. And remember that “white women” includes women who are queer and trans, who are poor, who are immigrants, who

Eh. White women still have it good. Second rung is better than last rung.

I fucking hate the way that the “white girl” meme has morphed from a tool for women of color to talk about white women’s complicity in white supremacist systems into a way for people to spew gross misogyny under the guise of calling out racial privilege.

“It’s okay that she said racist things, because they always say racist things.” Probably the worst take ever on Deadspin. And that’s saying something.

I mean, sure, but it’s still racist . . .

So its ok for Trump to say what he says becuase he’s just catering to his audience right???? Cmon bro, you serious?

He’s young and white and a Stanford student, so that “impact” would be on his future earning potential. Not the woman he raped, other women who’ll encounter, everyone else, etc.

This makes absolute sense and my heart aches for this man. Having said that, that's a fucking amazing picture.

the federal govt has the power to tax, but does not have the power to compel people to buy a product to simply exist since the start of our country

The decision above was made by a Presidential appointee. Seems like proof that President is an important job.

Please stop treating him like his mainstreaming of hate is somehow agreeable and no longer an issue. It is! He’s reprehensible!

I don’t accept your lifestyle as a bigot.

they all look alike AYO

That would be the New Yorker.

Pssst, the New Yorker and the New York Times are two totally different publications.

the First Amendment does not apply here. This is a private film festival. The first amendment is designed to prevent the government from punishing or preventing speech and expression. An organizer deciding to pull a film from a festival has zero first amendment implications.

I just went and looked at a two bedroom in Queens that was almost a mile from the train and in a building that looked like a trap house. It was $2000 a month.
