"Puberty was invented for a reason. It signals the brain when to find a female sexually attractive." What is this pedophile doing out of the greys?

trying to justify a "friend's" behavior, are we?

If you are picking up women at a playground, probably best to ask their age.

It's just.... bad. so bad.

I think I get what he was saying.

Do you need to be in the same room as a thirteen year old you're in charge of at all times? Maybe the aunt was, God forbid, taking a shower? And maybe...that doesn't matter because we shouldn't have to worry about our thirteen year olds simply cooking breakfast in the kitchen alone. They should be able to stare out

Tina Fey (via Matt Lauer) really nailed this one:
"I'm always amazed at what women will do because they're afraid of being rude,"

I don't know why so many of you are bothered by this. I was working at MickeyD's for a breakfast shift and pulled a 8 rack of hash browns out of the fryer and one slid off. So I did the obvious thing and picked it up off the bottom of the fryer. Ever have that sense of time stopping and everything freezing? It felt

Also, where do I sign up?

I find it hilarious that there are people whose kink is just sending strangers expensive gifts and getting nothing in return.

Edited to say, nevermind. Pointless internet argument

Seriously. Because we aren't stupid, we know what's in the air. So every dinner out, holiday, walk in the park for the last 365 this girl was probably on edge, wondering if THIS was the big moment. Seems stressful!

Personally, I don't think it's all that respectful of the Grandpa for talking employees ears off. Sure it's harmless but when workers have to be polite, it's kind of like holding them hostage. People have things to do, why should they wait around to listen to a pointless, long story just because he feels like talking?

Everyone slips up at work sometimes. And when it happens with people in the service industry, I tend to give them my sympathy because I know for a fact how hard those jobs are, how people treat them like shit, and how hard it can be to handle it when you are trying to do your job but lonely people treat you like a

you've clearly not had to work retail. every customer is grandpa, except for the ones that scream at you for whatever reason they can think of, and you've got managers breathing down your neck about how all your side work isn't done yet.

When I worked as a cashier customers like that were a mixed bag, because it's fun when you have time to deal with it but when you have shit to do and grandpa is talking your ear off, it sucks. I had many times when I knew the conversation with me was the only one that person would have with another human all day, so

I'm now in the position where I'm a bit more sympathetic to the parents. Children can be quite willful. Also, more clever that you might realize about escaping.

I worked the drive thru at McDonald's as a teenager. I was the perky, "Have a super day!" girl on staff that I'm sure everyone hated. I'm positive they were staring at my back, silently wishing the swift and inevitable crushing weight of adulthood on my chipper demeanor. Who could blame them?

I just have to admire both the perseverance and courage of Emma and her boyfriend. I don't know if I could have waited that long for McDonald's, nor do I know if I would have had the bravery to eat something prepared by someone so clearly on another plane of existence.
