The true zombies were the friends we made along the way!
A guy I knew was from some area of Colombia where the “optician” was basically “the guy who had a big cache of stolen glasses”. When things started looking blurry, you went to this guy’s stall at the market, and tried on pair after pair until you found one that did the best job at giving you reasonable eyesight.
There’s doing something bad like dealing drugs or swindling people, and then there’s doing something bad like raping multiple women and murdering someone because you’re a racist piece of shit. I love my brother but I’d be out if he did the latter. And if it was my kid, I certainly wouldn’t be on TV telling everyone…
I see no tears. He’s fucking faking it. He’s evil incarnate.
“YES Im an optician, I’ve often though about grinding lenses in the apocalypse.”
AND no characters seem to have any health issues. I've been waiting years for someone to say "ouch my arthritic knee hurts" or "my eyesight is getting blurry, must be time for new glasses". No everybody's perfectly healthy!
I’m okay with it, my biggest beef with the series is that basically no major character has died a natural death on the series, and that the deaths have become routine occurrences for the show.
Mel is American.
Nothing in that magazine ever fit me right. The cut of their clothes was horrible. I’m pretty sure Delia’s helped to make me even more self conscious than I already was, because the clothes fit so bad and looked bad on me.
One of the saddest memories of my childhood is set the summer before I started 7th grade - new school, new me! I was pawing through the Delia’s catalogue circling everything I wanted, hoping that just maybe I’d be allowed to get one or two things that would set me up for social success as the new kids.
They advertised in the back of Seventeen magazine, right next to the ad for Barbazon modelling school. You could sign up to get a Delia’s catalogue, and they sold slip dresses with athletic stripes, bellbottom pants, tshirts that wouldn’t cover your whole torso, messenger bags and all manner of beanie or bucket hat.…
He’s poorly written as a result of the writers having no clue where to take him -no stomach to keep him Good, no balls to twist him Bad. And Lincoln can’t act well enough to give him a core despite that.
My dad watches this; my mom calling it Slow Boat to Nowhere was the sickest burn.
Every episode like eating shoefly pie with extra mo-lass-ses.
And has Carol ever had a bear?
There’s nothing illegal about owning the things in the blue bottle. Someone needed to prove that Adora was giving the contents to her daughters under the guise of medicine.
Are we certain it was a decision? The name of the episode was “Milk”, so when I saw Camille drinking a glass of it at the place Adora set for her...
true and she could of made another call before going to the house.
