To think how far he's come but how much we enjoy it is amazing. First season, the "$1 TV" ploy could have been an entire episode in itself. But the fact that he brought in a psychologist, a fake dating reality show, a lawsuit, and ended with a blind date was like watching an entire season at once.

Che is doing just fine up there; he's clearly the one bringing what little edge they have by way of commentary (I'd say his previous short stint at the Daily Show is evidence of his desire to get outright political).

Oh, and apparently Colin Jost did not know that Polish jokes have not been a "thing" in quite some time.

A glimpse of what I hope replaces Jost's attempts to be cool and hip with Jost's being aloof and unaware of the world around him. But rather than being, say, a conservative news pundit, he can be a Harvard white boy being even more Harvard and white than he already is.

With your god damn cassette tapes and walkmans. Can't you read a newspaper or pay your way through college with a part time summer job like the rest of us?

Have you watched SNL before?

Vanessa Bayer used to be such a big part of the cast, too. Now she's been largely demoted to turning to the camera and awkwardly baring her teeth while she slinks out of camera's view.

They just remembered to delete them before Lorne went public with their names.

OH. Hannah. Montana. If it weren't for the stray observations, I wouldn't have gotten that joke. This was a surprisingly bleak episode, but I'm glad they gave Kyle and Beck a slot again; over the spring they didn't get much airtime at all.

Yeah it got downgraded.

For who could ever love a cabbage-faced baby?

Palestinian Chicken.

SodoSopa (or your city's equivalent): Come for the wide variety of non-chain restaurants. Leave because the beer prices are ridiculous.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of Noah's recurring characters. Where Stewart had "Old Jewish Person who doesn't quite understand why things are the way they are," Noah seems to have "young social media idiot who is too self-absorbed to be self-aware" in his back pocket.

Given the nature of the show, I think it would be just as likely that they would ask Someone to show up on the set in costume as bait. Not only is it free advertising for what is already TV's most popular show, but it'll piss everyone off (which, I personally believe, is the intention of the series. To win Emmys,

Just give Eliza Coupe a camera and something to make her eye twitch. Give her 26 episodes a year and I'll watch that.

Only if it gets better than the pilot. Selfie got much better than the pilot.

So when Clara leaves, Missy is going to be the Doctor's Prisoner/Companion for the next season, right? Right?! Michelle Gomez is the PERFECT Master to counter Capaldi. Great casting, great acting.

"Hello? Yes, Mr. Mueller? OK, Mr. Mueller, bye, Mr. Mueller!" "Who was that?" "It was Mr. Mueller."

I used that one today for my own great joke that no one laughed at.
