You realize you're getting too old when you stop "getting" the younger generation and their cultural productions.

Then maybe she got an abortion from Qyburn? Maybe she never got pregnant. Qyburn is involved in this pregnancy one way or another, I just don't know how.

Entirely unsubstantiated theory: Cersei isn't pregnant with Jaime's child. She's pregnant with… something from Qyburn. Not sure what, but they certainly chatted about something and it wasn't revealed just yet.

I rechecked the map, I always forget how close Dragonstone is to Kings Landing. When I picture it in my mind, I think of it much farther north, same latitude as Braavos, but it really is close.

So in terms of time passing, how long did it take for Dany on Drogon to get to that battle, and how long for Tyrion, well aware she was gone, to arrive, too? Was it as long as The Long Farewell takes to kill a Sand Snake? I guess we will see next week. Maybe.

I assume she will make an alumna donation to the House of Black and White once she's got her hands on some of that gold.

I laughed way harder than I expected to at this special. Halfway through I paused it only to watch his Conan bit with Jon Dore, and get detoured by all his Conan appearances.

I imagine this is HBO's attempt at playing "how cheaply can we win an Emmy for Limited Series?" Build a single room as a set, and find some people who haven't broken out yet to fill in the ranks around a few big names.

At least they weren't gambling.

Really he's got a lot of great options for gifts.

I think the "gift" Euron wants to give Cersei is either Tyrion or Sansa. Doesn't matter to him which, either will do.

If they're leaving, Comedy Central and television in general will be almost wholly drained of good timely political and social satire. Stewart, Colbert and Matt and Trey were holding the network up at the top of pop satire for over a decade. Too bad.

I don't think I can make it that night. I'm gunna be trolling for some tight slizz.

At least we don't have to see Tom Yates reading his lines anymore as if he's unaware there are cameras recording what he's doing for a television series.

I loved Shawnee's facial reaction to Jonah's defense of her: "For your information, this tranny knuckle-dragger is my fiancee!"

Jian Yang with the line "I can call my uncle, he's very corrupt" had the perfect timing between "very" and "corrupt" to make me almost lose a mouthful of food. Such a simple joke, but possibly my favorite of the season.

It's so rare to see Samira Wiley on screen outside of confinement. Every time we do see her on the "outside," she's lost and drifting. But I imagine it isn't going to be too much of a stretch to translate that into the constraints of refuge in Canada, isolated from everyone she knows except one brother-in-law-type

Two grade-A pluwrites.

College students aren't "children."

Over 18 (I don't know exact age, but college-aged) and the TA was early 20s.
