Yup. I don't necessarily roleplay a backstory as much, but I love doing a playthrough with all magic, or light armor with a bow and poisoned arrows, or big tank with armor, etc. And just exploring, Skyrim is great for that, just wandering around, climbing mountains and shooting bears. Oh, and Dragonborn was fantastic.

My friends were making fun of me just before I hit the 500 mark. That was before I got back into it... now I've blown past that! Doing mages guild stuff, didn't do any of that before. The great thing about that game (one of them, anyway) is that I always find something to do that I haven't done before.

I'm thinking it's a short term solution for people who really want to check it out ASAP. Also, it could be a way for tech savvy folks to build/buy a very cheap version of a Steam box, if they happen to already have a bitchin' gaming PC in their room and they want to have some kind of living room media center setup.

It comes at me in waves. Last few months I wasn't playing much at all, trying to get through my backlog of other games, etc. Now I've got a new Breton mage and it's true love all over again!

Yeah, as much as I'd like to see a HL3 and/or a Source 2 announcement, I'm guessing the third announcement will have something to do with linking your current PC to a Steam box that you build or buy.

Already on my way! Here's a link to my profile, if anyone wants to be my Steam friend. Just try not to laugh when you've seen how many hours I've put into Skyrim.

I’m worried about Kinect. Mere months from launch it feels imprecise, temperamental and clumsy. On more than one occasion its voice recognition, being demonstrated by a Microsoft rep from the US with an American accent, needed three or four repeats of ‘Xbox Home’ to do what a single button press could have done in

Threatening to never shop there again, but still buying the product? Lame. If he really wanted to "stand up for his rights as a customer," he could've asked for his money back and left the store without the game. Instead, he did this:

Bravo! The only person truly winning from this fiasco is Dick Wolf.

I hated Steam when it first came out. I think I'd even gotten a cracked version of HL2 so I wouldn't have to use the service (don't worry, I've owned a legit copy for years, now). I don't remember the time exactly, but I believe it was sometime in 2007, when I grudgingly bought a non-Steam game through Steam. I

Awesome! KQ3 was my favorite. I'll have to spend some time getting reacquainted.

Oh, absolutely. Both TF2 and Tom and Jerry are totally twisted and great! A lot of the old Looney Tunes were pretty nuts as well. I love that stuff. I'm right there with you, but I forget my sarcasm doesn't translate well over the Internets sometimes. I actually think it's totally ludicrous that TF2 has an M rating.

They should be, if they're not already. They're basically torture porn.

Have you seen TF2? Yes, it has an "M" rating for violence, but it's no worse than a Tom and Jerry cartoon.

Really the only multiplayer I've played is TF2 (and it's been a while since my last TF2 game), but usually I find it's a pretty chill atmosphere in those groups. The few times I heard any mouthing off to the girls on the server, the girls gave it right back to them, and that was the end of it.

I used to be a Witcher like you, until... ah, forget it.

Dual-wielding is the only kind of wielding!

What really makes me sad is thinking about how good DA2 could have been, if it wasn't rushed out the door before it was finished. I had no problem with the idea of being restricted geographically to one specific location. But that location should've been WAY more detailed than it was. You should've been able to

YOU'RE a poor attempt at sarcasm.
