Twister wasn’t great, but it was a perfectly serviceable 90s action movie. Does it scream for a remake? Probably not, but I wouldn’t have guessed Avatar did either, so that shows you what I know.

The Rock is the cameo?
I just started a watch of this series with my 17 year old. I have only seen the first one, back in theaters. Can’t wait to catch up.
So far #1 is a bit cheesy but fun, 2F2F was just brutally bad except Roman is at least kinda fun in a dopey way.
This weekend is Tokyo Drift.
Public transit is good and not a sign of class or status if you use it.
(could also be a lot of places in Australia have perfectly fine and functional public transport, which is convenient to use and a lot cheaper than paying for parking)
Toots.
That said definitely go to the mountain and find the troopers behind the barrier. In general this game LOVES to put up a barrier you can't cross directly and then have an enemy just mercilessly shit all over you. The Bedlam Raider on the shattered moon stands out on this one.
As a person who has a Series X and PS5 (along with a Switch and solid PC), the Xbox has been where most of my home entertainment comes from. I do think they have a lot of work to do in terms of compelling critical darlings, but I also think that’s only part of the story. Xbox seems to have far superior support for…
I have a Series X and a PS5, and I like both. But I play most of my games on my PS5, including multiplat, for some reason. In fact, I’m not really a fan of Sony Studio output save for stuff by Insomiac or Housemarqe, so a lot of what I play on PS5 is multiplat. If the Series X significantly outperforms the PS5 or has…
Heh, I remember the Atari VCS/Intellivision wars. :D
For sure. I’m just trying to help get the word out that we’ve been swindled.
I don’t think any reasonable gamer likes exclusives. When done intentionally, it’s a purely capitalist strategy to sell more consoles. It’s only ever a downside for gamers. Anyone who believes there are benefits have been sold snake oil.
I’ve never seen such an overreaction to what is simply an average game which, let’s face it, was never going to be make-or-break for Xbox’s success, and certainly wasn’t hyped to the level Starfield is.

Yep same. Other people not being able to play a game, somehow doesn't make the game more fun. The Xbox is such a good platform, and gamepass is such a good deal.
This is so dumb. Games aren’t more fun if they’re exclusive, and Gamepass, even without redfall, is the best deal in gaming by miles. The deals are better than Sony’s, I routinely buy things 50% off, I haven’t paid full price for a game since cyberpunk. It’s also a fantastic all around media machine. The whole…
But that console could be either an Xbox or PS right? If you don’t particularly care for subscription services, then I would rather use the console that has all the multiplatform releases AND good exclusives. The PS5 is that console for me. I do have and Xbox, but at this point it is exclusively a gamepass machine for…
Yeah, I mean, even with a PS5, I still play my Xbox more than anything else. Some of that is momentum (I’ve had an Xbox since the 360) and some of that are Game Pass releases (which for me includes the first-party exclusives, since, well, they’re included).
I don’t really blame them for being mad at people who leak shit two weeks early and then go on and stream it. I think you’d have to heavily qualify that as “exposure” and especially for a game that doesn’t need it.
In before someone shames you for being old like me and referring to the BotW/TotK Link as the “Hero of Time” because your childhood Link was the OoT/MM Link. Apparently he’s “The Hero of the Wild.”
I don’t know. He could still surprise us. History loves a 2nd act twist.
