It scratches an itch for me as an action figure collector too. All the skins feel (and in some cases are) like action figures and it just really does it for me. The aesthetics are good and if you have a few friends to play with it’s good arcadey fun.

Fortnite is weird in that it keeps swallowing all pop culture but I’ve come around to it with the no-build modes and what is actually a mechanically solid shooter.

I’ve seen a few clips of this game on tiktok and it’s not funny at all to me. That gimmick looks like it would get old very fast.

I think the power scaling at this point, going solely by the movie:

- Whis
- Beerus
- Broly
- Gohan (final)
- Vegeta/Goku (lumping these as one since they’re fairly equal)
- Piccolo
- Buu
- Goten/Trunks (same reason as above)

I wouldn’t call Gohan the 5th strongest guy (depending on the part of the saga). 

also, Toriyama himself has been involved in the movies, which makes them canon.

The events of Broly are referenced directly in the manga right after the tournament of power and right before the galactic patrol saga. No point in adapting a movie as a manga when they can move the story forward. Clearly the plan for Dragon Ball, for quite some time now, is to treat the super era of movies as canon…
