There’s also the fact that Fortnite has been around since 2013 in terms of development and that the BR mode was tacked on to a game that was already produced and fine-tuned. It may still be in Early Access but it has been around much longer and had a chance to iron out any kinks.

Isn’t Epic games a considerably larger studio than Bluehole? That’s your answer right there. You can’t expect a smaller studio to pump out updates at the same rate as a large one, that’s unrealistic.
