I’m really interested in those Talon characters. Usually the NPC characters in these modes have some sort of commonality with the regular characters but these seem wholesale original which is great.

Vegeta also has a form now that Goku doesn’t, which is a nice change of pace. The ending of the series states Goku can’t tap into Ultra Instinct just yet but I’m guessing Vegeta’s form is a bit more achievable.

Cell Saga had technically 3 forms. Super Saiyan second grade (Super Vegeta/Trunks), SSJ Full Power (Goku, Gohan in their calm state), SSJ2 (Gohan).

I think the whole subplot with him was pretending to ally himself with Frost and knocking him out and playing in the sidelines to end up in exactly the position he’s in right now. I figured he’d either last long enough to be the second man when time ran out, automatically giving U7 the win, or Goku would beat Jiren…

The thing is. If Universe 7 wins because Freeza is the only remaining warrior does that mean that he gets the Dragon Balls?

SS3 had the oozaru specifically included into the transformation the first time Goku did it in the Buu Saga

Every time goku has a significant power up the growl is present. It’s a callback to OG Dragon Ball and the Oozaru transformation.

Sorta? His backstory implied that there’s someone stronger than him he wants or wanted to beat. It wasn’t really clear if he ever did.
