Not the legal team. MPG ratings use the most aggressive setting, UNLESS the car defaults to something every startup. So that’s why everything defaults to ECO mode, so the car can have a better MPG/emissions rating on the window sticker.

Fuel efficiency ratings. These “sport” settings usually don’t get the best MPG, so manufacturers use the eco mode as the “default” setting so that the rating on the window sticker is higher. If the car stays is whatever setting the driver left it (ie, it doesn’t have a default), then the EPA will use the most

Came here to post I-95 in Virginia, thank you for reminding me about I-81. Trucks, over-zealous cops, cell phone dead zones, horrible, even though I used to live in northern Shenandoah valley, I tried to block this out of my mind. I-95 is a close second: even though it’s 3 lanes between DC and Richmond, left lane hogs

I’m just trying to figure out what they’d call a potential truck and where it would fall in the naming convention? With the model Y, available cars are now S3XY. BEAST would be a good name IMO.

Came here to post that, pretty hilarious.

I missed my old 240SX also. Bought it my senior year of high school, had an SR20 swap, did an S15 front conversion when I rear-ended someone, drove it for years also. It was my “first” car that wasn’t a hand-me-down. Sold it when we had a baby and I needed a “sensible” family car.

Not as bad as the Armada, 2004-2016. Then in 2017 they changed to the QX80(Patrol) platform that’s been on sale in the US since 2011.

He didn’t like how it went from 70 to 88 mph so easily. That was about all I could glean. Otherwise it was just a break-down of his vacation.

It took them this long to finally say, “f—k it, publish!”

I wonder if it’s simply easier to revive an “old” name rather than try to trademark a new name by searching the entire globe to ensure it’s unique and not offensive in any language.

Black side mirrors, black grille, I don’t know how many times I’ve slowed down thinking an unmarked police car was gaining on me, only to realize it was a SHO.

You are correct and that’s how flags are displayed on “moving” objects (planes, boats, trucks, soldiers, etc). The wall in a shop is not moving, so this is backwards for a display.

They must have seen US Army uniforms and totally missed the intent. On the Army uniform, the star field faces forward, or to the flag’s own right. Essentially giving the effect of the “flag flying in the breeze as the wearer moves forward.” So when the flag is worn on the right shoulder, it’s “reversed.” When hanging

It’s just wishful thinking. Probably the same people that think the Bronco will look like that rendering that keeps floating around.

The Nissan Primera was also available with a VVL SR20VE engine (similar to Honda’s VTEC) but the US cars never got that option. Sure it could have given the Integra a run for their money.

That was my take also from the “incremental” as well. It won’t be the current Everest, it’ll be the next gen version.

A 1974 Chevy Vega was my very first car, in 1998. I drug it out of a field for $450. The engine leaked so much that my dad let forced me park it in the garage because he was embarrassed by the oil spot on the road. Rear passengers could see the road below, fixed that with a piece of plywood. The wheels were rusty and

The problem is the Rocket Bunny Boss kit doesn’t come with a rear bumper. Some of the builds I’ve seen have ginormous chassis mounted rear wings. Definitely makes the whole thing look unfinished.

Yes, these cars handle a lot. The rear subframe and suspension share a lot with the 300ZX and Skylines of the same vintage. Just need to upgrade the brakes and suspension to support the power mods (as you would with any car). Agreed, CP for someone else’s show/project car. $15k might be fair to the right buyer though.

In a lot of these videos, other cars were stopped for the red but the runner blasted on through. I’d say visibility was obstructed to notice the car not stopping. I’ve only had one near miss, but had clear visibility of the cross-street and the pickup that wasn’t slowing down even though I had a solid green light
