Yeah. He was probably hoping to talk her out of it, and didn't want to agitate her.

I can understand the confusion that including Coulson in the movies would cause, so it's reasonable that they don't bring him back, but it'd be nice if there were a bit more synergy with the show. Even a cameo from Patton Oswalt (Agent Koenig) or Adrian Pasdar (Colonel Talbot) would be a nice grounded connection to

It appears to be setting up for the Thor sequel, so the studio wanted it there for that.

Yes, but how do you pronounce it backwards?

I would have thought that the mask-with-no-eyeholes would be some kind of giveaway there, but nobody seems to even acknowledge it.

Cal was pretty mad at Whitehall for "what he did to her," which involved cutting out all of her organs, which is pretty much way worse if she didn't die.

"Love in the Time of HYDRA" was not one of the better Lost episodes

(This is the last episode I've seen so far, but since the whole season is out, the universe already knows if I'm wrong) I'm kind of hoping they still might bring up the twist that Jacqueline is adopted. The incongruity between these scenes and that reveal could be played for additional absurdity, especially if the

The next Terminator is lampshading that by saying the current T800 was sent back to the 80s (or earlier, I guess?) and its organic skin has deteriorated since then. Fair enough.

Not a movie, but the Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles television series picks up a bit after Terminator 2 and would seem to directly contradict/erase Terminator 3.

Hard to tell what was intended with Batman Forever, since the "reboot" concept wasn't especially familiar in the 1990s. I agree it seems like it was just "another Batman movie" with no particular connection to the previous ones, but no conscious attempt to start anew either, in the same way that most pre-Casino-Royale

I do hope that happens, and I did think of M as precedent. The only other instance that comes to mind is Michael Gough playing Alfred through both the Burton and Bruckheimer Batman films, though none of those was really a full reboot, despite the rest of the cast changing. Though if they're really skipping the origin

I think they should bring back JK Simmons regardless of the rest of the cast and continuity.

I always thought "Silent Garfield" (which came first, as far as I know) was more interesting, because by removing Garfield's thought bubbles, you saw what was actually going on in Jon's life. Just a dude talking to his cat, who can't talk. Like real cats.

If they didn't shoehorn the Batman impression in… what would the bit be?

Honestly, the complete failure of this mashup trailer gives me hope for the movie, because of the way this trailer unintentionally highlights the difference between the comical Burt Macklin performance and Pratt's reasonably-serious acting in the Jurassic World footage by trying to present them as similar

He really does seem to have the sort of screen presence that would make him a good superhero. Hopefully one of the studios reads this and sets him up as a one-off hero with a contract that he likes better.

At this point it does seem pretty mean. Seems like you'd get more mileage letting the poor cat rest around the house and having a fake Grumpy Cat puppet made for things like this movie.
