I live in this county, I believe I wrote in "anyone actually qualified" on my November ballot instead of voting for any of the ass clowns including Ed here who were options.
I was pretty sure he was a racist. Now, I’m on the fence about it.
in his 35 years on the force no one else has described him as racist.
These feckless inbreds ain’t loyal, and are hardly royal. Big Liz knew that bloodline needed well...fresh blood, thus...enter Meg. When Meg realized this was just Get Out Pt. 2, she GOT OUT.
“We all know what the British press can be like, and it was destroying my mental health,” Harry recently told fellow Briton and evening talk-show host James Corden. “I was, like, this is toxic,” Harry continued. “So, I did what any husband and what any father would do—I need to get my family out of here.”
Jezeus, did somebody really think this was going to help? Wow.
The superhero Captain BlackFriend has been wheeled out to rescue poor Willy from accountability.

I agree with Elizabeth Olson on NO, also YES is full sentence .
I don’t usually side with airlines, but I don’t think a passenger should be able to switch into a higher class of seating without paying for it, either. It’ll just increase tensions between passengers. There should be an onboard option to upgrade at a major discount, though. They’ve got the credit card machines.
Is there a part of the world where first class seats are sometimes empty? I live in Chicago and travel frequently for work and have literally never seen this. Any first class seats that don’t get sold will go to one of the dozens of people on the upgrade list.
Correct. In a world where the standard rule is “every empty seat is a free for all after takeoff” there will be melee near first class as people try to nab the empty seats, especially on long-haul flights, resulting in fights and inevitable delays/diversions (beacuse you know we can’t have nice things).
Fewer people will pay for the higher class, or use miles/cash to request an upgrade, if they know there’s a chance they could get it for free. That appears to be the airlines’ rationale.
