    I hate to inform you, but the artist and writer are one in the same.

    Somewhat late reply, but re: The shooter’s photograph not being plastered everywhere, that’s actually an issue in and of itself.

    This.

    I really want to see Trump attempt to shake hands with an aikido practitioner sometime who ends up throwing him out of sheer instinct.

    Late reply, but these reviews really seem to try their hardest to make Persona seem less intuitive than it actually is.

    This is a pretty late reply, but if you haven’t tried it yet, what makes Persona good are all the character moments moreso than anything else. Persona is a game that makes you feel like the guys in your party aren’t just characters, but friends.

    This exactly. No matter how cute and quirky you try to make it, if there’s no Itoi, that shit ain’t Mother.

    The thing with Mother is that it’s complete. Shigesato Itoi has gone on record numerous times stating that a Mother 4 is impossible, and that the series ended with 3.

    It’s perfectly okay to cosplay any character of any race you want, despite your own race. As a fan, you’re just paying some love and tribute to that character, not trying to define yourself as the be-all end-all of that character’s depiction.

    It’s the good ol’ “Boobs ‘N Butt” pose! Great for showing off both a character’s front and rear assets at the same time, spinal structure be damned.

    Why does Dog = Manly?? What...? Do you just think that female dogs don’t exist or something?

    “(Not saying Undertale ripped it off...)”

    Hey, you can never tell who’s speaking in earnest over the internet these days! ;-;

    I’m hype. I’m so goddamn hype. MP100 has been my most darling, cherished manga for a while now. Those expecting it to be “OPM but with psychic powers” are in for a surprise... The only real similarity in the premise is that the main character is OP, but how that’s handled is totally different.

    There are tons. Most of Studio Gainax’s works weren’t based on mangas, for instance—Gurren Lagann, Panty and Stocking, Evangelion, etc. Same with several Ghibli films. Just look up “original anime” and you’ll find more than you could rattle off in a day.

    The investment has to do less with his power and more with his character. Mob Psycho is all about development, emotional maturity and finding one’s place in society. The psychic powers just make it fun.

    If we’re making Earthbound comparisons, the protagonist is actually a lot more like Lucas.
