@GreezyG: Do you have Windows Media Center? ( i thought it was included in all versions of vista and 7 but i could be wrong) You should be able to just use your 360 as a media center extender which i thought was supposed to be pretty simple. I never got a chance to actually try it out though.

@jethro1138: Do they make ones that intelligent? I was aware of electric kettles that you could specify tempertures or tea types and it would get the correct temps, but didn't know they had legit tea makers that then steep it for you to.... that sounds amazing... Sometimes I just don't want to do the work.

I do this all the time. I think most people are aware of it. I'm typically really quick at responding. If I don't respond i either got distracted elsewere on my desktop or i walked away from you. I've had very few people freak out about it, but a lot of the people i talk to take forever to respond themselves.

@khaki54: On one hand i agree and on one hand i don't.

For anyone not sure if they want to try this is actually pretty easy to do. Even if you can't find a walk through for replacing the screen, you can probably find a walk through for a disassembly or teardown. Thats the hardest part, figuring out how to get that bad boy apart.

Now that I've had time to get used to it, I don't actually care for google instant anyway. It's just distracting if anything. I usually have a search phrase in mind as it is and don't stop to look at the quickly changing text until I'm done typing, and then i instinctively hit the enter key.

@gyffes: Oh i never did passwords because I was paranoid about them leaving my computer and being in server space. In reality they were probably more secure there than they are on my local machine but thats besides the point.

I'm very heartbroken. I thought about switching to the built in chrome browser sync but then decided to stay with xmarks simply because it was cross platform and I'm very open to changing browsers as different browsers outpace other browsers.

@falafelfro: The browser integration was what I loved about xmarks. It just put all my bookmarks right in the bookmarks section of whatever browser i felt like using today.

@BadJoJo: Giving is giving. You're going to get less back in rewards than you probably gave away. So as long as its a net loss to you I don't see how it could be greedy. Fuck it just means your smart if you figure out a way give AND work the system at the same time.
