If this were a think piece on young women as sex symbols then I would agree with you, but this is clearly just a “celebrity did a thing” report which is part of the Jez wheel house.

The point is some young women, Millie Bobby Brown in this case, are uncomfortable being treated as sex symbols and find it creepy that not only do people literally count down the days that they can openly objectify her but we as a society actively encourage it.
