I think there is something to be said as well about how changes in weight are a very normal sign of deteriorating mental health. Thor wasn’t just fat, Thor was in an alcoholic depressive stupor. And they explored that (as much as they could for Marvel film anyhow).

Yea that was Felice’s point and its one I agree with. I was also pointing out that LMM thought he had covered it and in his own words “he missed the mark”.

Hmm I thought the 3rd person to play Hamilton was Michael Luwoye who is dark skinned.

He thought he had represented the make up of the neighborhood and honestly if you look at the ensemble and swing its incredibly diverse. The issue Felice brought up was that no leads or primary characters were dark skinned afro latinx.

The tour of Hamilton I saw had a light skinned Burr and I think the other company that was touring at the time had a dark skinned Hamilton. 

I agree no one is entitled to forgiveness or absolution, I argue that the apology deserves to be acknowledged. Especially when the apology comes from a person who for all intents and purposes has been working hard to break color barriers on the stage and in film. 

The more progressive and further left side would shred her alive for her attempt at political theatre. And rightly so, no one needs that.
