He promoted his church on national television. She criticized it on social media. Seems totally fair.

Oh, it’s a talking point from the Trumpsters about immigration left over from 2017. They got some Hispanic guy to go on TV and claim that Latinx culture is very dominant, and that Americans could lose their national identity and be taken over by Hispanic cultural forces. It was meant to sound inimical, but then he

If anyone starts whatabouting “Clinton” at me over this, I hope they explode in surprise when I’m like “that’s fine. take him down.” I was too young to vote for the man, don’t especially care for him, am not fine with members of the left getting away with child rape and sexual assault, and continue to operate under

Wow. Whole lotta “but Clinton” already.

Hahaha whatever. You want to work for someone abusive, go ahead. There’s no excuse for it, there’s no justification for it. It’s just stupid. Abusing staff is something a stupid person does. I don’t care what a person has accomplished or what they’re capable of, mistreating others is such a myopic, idiotic way to go

Republicanism is like a dozen donuts on a table where a rich guy, a poor white guy, and a poor black guy are sitting. The rich guy comes, takes 11 donuts, then says to the poor white guy “that black guy wants your donut!”

I’d have to agree. Making fun of “social justice warriors” or “libruls” when these are often the folks fighting for equality, justice, freedoms, fair treatment, and access to goods and services for all people - no matter gender, preference, race or faith seems a lot like showing your racist, privileged ass to the

HA! I balance you out with NPR and the BBC.

Not sure what frighteningly / terrifyingly accurate means in this situation, seeing as they’re fictional characters who live in other worlds far, far removed from the political memeing of this one, and this really only communicates the infatuation the author has with their own pseudo-intellectual sense of humor. Guess

Yeah, I think when people say “unbiased” they usually mean “have standards.”

I’ll be voting for Kamala, Beto, Bernie, Liz or Joe...whomever wins the primary because there is only one correct answer on 11/3/2020.

I’m not saying this as a fan but Imagine Dragons isn’t an irrelevant band.  They may be the only rock-ish band in recent years to achieve genuine success.  Like them or not (some of their songs are fine to me), they may be the future of rock.

That kinda describes pretty much all democracies though....

By definition, “America isn’t ready” is the refrain of conservative ideology. “Conservative” means “resistant to change.” Furthermore, “conservative” can be extrapolated to “fear.” Fear of change, fear of the other, fear of the outside, and fear of loss of control.

No one should think of Obama as a perfect president because one doesn’t exist. We should think of him as a man who did his best but still stumbled a few times. Instead of rejecting him for his faults we need to instead think of ways the next Obama can avoid those pitfalls.

Came here to say this. The game’s been in development for 4 years, as of recently they were still hiring for critical positions*, and they had to scrap most of the project after taking it away from the third-party studio they hired to make it.

On the other hand, come the new year my nephew is going to be sitting in the middle of the kill zone between the IDF and ISIS, waiting on UN authorisation to shoot back at the (either) fuckers.

This. As a veteran, of course I don’t want any US servicemember to remain in a combat zone a microsecond longer than necessary. But I also don’t want the efforts they’ve already put in the region to instantly go to shit because they weren’t given the chance to transition control to “the locals.”
