Totally agree with everything you say and would also add that if you were a LoTR-type fantasy fan in the mid seventies, well you were out of luck. I was thinking through the whole episode that its kind of a shame that we don’t have The Joker’s ambiguous past like we do with some portrayals of him. Its kind of fun to not know exactly how or why The Joker got to be the way he was, and I think it was one of the smartest parts of The Dark Knight movie.

I aside from the story, there is plenty to like about the prequels.

To say that TPP is “half of what Kojima wanted it to be” and “unfinished” is seriously an exaggeration. Okay, the cut content which was episode 51, does that really add up to 50% of the game? What about the multiplayer portion which has yet to launch, does that have no value?
