A person I know who is super into guns told me that one time when I told him that’s what I would do.

Can that not open you up to liability though? If you shoot someone after saying that can law enforcement choose to interpret that as you “challenging” the intruder? Serious question.

I live in a military town and am from a military family. I was unable to serve due to health reasons, but would have. The majority of people I know who served, and especially those who saw combat, are never really ones who get into these shows of patriotism. Some people who know me think I disrespect the troops or

It drives racists crazy when you try to remind them that dark skin and an African heritage is a trait shared among all humans at some point in our genetic history. It doesn’t matter that Cheddar Man’s race was technically one that no longer exists.

I didn’t read that as denigrating other civilizations. I read it as, “Africa was not just a continent of grass huts, spearchucking and people running around as barefoot porters. It was right up with the civilized white folk.”

If that’s how you feel, that is your choice. Is there something particular in the article that bothers you?

I might have been open to that until I got to the video of the guy eating horse poop. Many moments have left me speechless over the last year, but this... I have no words. I am literally speechless.

I don’t think it is either. To say this administration is unpopular is a massive understatement. The odds of Trump being reelected are low, in my opinion. I think saving DACA recipients should be a major priority too.

Same here. As a father I have had this exact scenario play out in my head many times. I hope if that time ever comes I can be as brave as he was.

Trump might get impeached (if we are lucky), but you could find out he personally murdered a church full of orphans and he would never ever ever have to face justice for it. Worst case scenario he would disappear to some tropical resort somewhere and “retire.”

I really hope people remember that when they sing the FBI’s praises. Investigating suspected crime is their job and investigating Trump’s campaign is literally the least they can do. I guess the bar is so low right now that seeing an agency just do it’s job comes off as nothing short of remarkable.

The present day FBI is one of the few institutions in the Justice Department that at least tries to be somewhat objective, I think. Historically their track record is atrocious, but I appreciate that they are doing their jobs regarding Trump.

I just can’t believe that republican voters are stupid enough to believe that the FBI has some kind of anti-conservative liberal agenda in the first place.

I don’t think the dude was malicious, but I do think he is awfully ignorant. Ignorance, frankly, is often more harmful than outright malice. If you are a white person who cares about white supremacy you have to get educated and expecting black people to spoon feed it to you is just intellectually lazy.

That was my thought as well. How could you not know this already? Michael was being very gracious with him. I’m a sometimes-dumb-as-fuck white guy and I’ve understood this since I was teenager.

The one thing that sucks is that you can’t just casually replay it. You have to set up your sensor bar and possibly rearrange your furniture (I know I would). I think it was fun, but overall I’m glad the Wii experiment is over.

As a huge fan of Skyward Sword, there is no way it could work without motion controls. Nearly every task in the game revolves around Wii Motion+ control. It is worth playing if you can make the motion controls work for you. This isn’t like Twilight Princess where you would swing to make Link do his scripted sword

I had a similar reaction to the story. My daughter is not biologically mine, and her “father” really is a scumbag. That said, I love my daughter enough to realize that he is in some ways an important person in her life. If I were in a position where he was homeless or something and I could help, I would feel compelled

Why in the world would you not want chain migration? One of the biggest risk factors for people failing to succeed is lack of support, right? What better support structure is there than extended family? The more cousins and aunts and uncles you bring in, the more success each existing family member is likely to

You keep misspelling uniom.
