Ah, I see. I wasn’t trying to sound sarcastic when I asked what I was missing. I’m just so good at it it tends to come out on it’s own. Your point makes sense to me now.

I like her, but to each their own. Maybe she’ll look better to you once you see her in game. That’s how I felt about Orissa. I thought she looked ugly as can be in her intro, but she looked much better in game.

Can’t speak for others, but I’m damn near unkillable when I play Lucio. I also often get at least silver eliminations, especially where environmental kills are possible. The meta has changed, but I think Lucio will remain a good fit for a lot of people.

Irish stereotype.... because she has red hair and is Irish? Am I missing something?

Is this a bad thing though? It was a decent counter to piracy. I will let you play much of my game for free, and if you like it make it easy for you to purchase the rest and keep your game going.

I come from a military family too, and I understand this perspective. If I were a football player, I would not choose to kneel, but I’d damn sure back my team mates who do.

I have gotten a lot of my games from free keys or cheap key sites and humble bundle. I wonder how this thing calaculates these values for items like those? It says I have spent $1030, but I’m certain it’s lower.

Your whole “today’s morality” argument you keep repeating is ridiculous, but I’ll play along. Even by the standards of the day Lee was a cruel man. Here is a decent article about since you seem so interested in the subject:

I agree with that logic until someone gets to the point where they will turn their back on family over sexual orientation or support racist ideology. If you are like that you are dead to me and I want nothing to do with you.

Lobbying is important, especially for smaller nonprofit interests, but even for many legitimate business ones. Our lawmakers can’t be experts at everything and without lobbyists they would have limited insight as to how legislation could impact people on a broader scale. For example, I work in the healthcare industry

This is easily the best comment in this thread.

You aren’t helping our case....

Shhh dude you’re gonna see to it we NEVER get invited!

I have gotten invited, and gone (I’m not married in or anything like that), but I’d feel bad if I knew I made anyone feel the way you and others in this thread have described. I feel like self serving liberalism is in many ways a greater threat than open racism, and I’m sure I’ve been guilty of it at times.

You’re fired, aren’t you?

I see The Root getting more and more attention in other media and pissing a lot of people off in the process. That means what they are doing is working. Keep up the good work!

I understand what you mean, but it’s hard not to feel defensive when you see articles like this so often these days. Not to say that is a bad thing; ignorance needs to exposed for what it is.

I’ve always found the show a little problematic for reasons that are hard (for me anyway) to articulate. I like the comic a lot better too.

YES YES YES! This is an excellent way of putting it. Some people feel indignant when they are told they are supporting white supremacy specifically because they think them refraining from outwardly racist behavior is all they have to do. Anything you do (or don’t do) that enables other white people to be hateful or

Michael Harriot is probably my favorite writer on the internet right now and is one of the few people who have been able to help me make some sense out of what has been happening for the last few years. I really wish more people could allow themselves to actively listen to his articles, not even agree with
