You are so right. I try to avoid using the term myself. When someone argues with me about it I try to just reframe it if I can. Call it what you will, I just think being a decent human being is kind of a minimum standard to be a productive member of society. Something like that.

To be fair you can kind of apply that to humanity in general. The solution, however, is to continuously strive for self improvement, not ceasing to exist.

I think people have forgotten that being politically correct doesn’t mean you have to agree with people. It just means you should treat them with respect and decency. The left has championed political correctness for so long now that some people on the right think they need to be opposed to it in general principal.

Ugh, I see what you mean. Best practice is still to avoid these things altogether, but I worry what will happen when someone has a legitimate medical emergency and has to get through one of these demonstrations.

The chain healing will give it similar qualities to Lucio and Zen’s ults where you an use them to counter a enemy push. Additionally, it will be more versatile. I don’t play a lot of Mercy, but I like this change.

I think it’s much better. Much of the time a 1 man rez is better than a team rez? The reason? if 5 players manage to die at once you’re obviously losing the team fight. With one man rezes you can strategize when to shift the momentum in a fight, leading to you breaking the stalemate.

Are you me? Sounds like we had the same education and came to a similar conclusion. I find it impossible to argue with the kinds of people who look at Charlottesville and then say racism is in the past. Why are they even protesting, right?

The trick is to not get defensive. Even if you disagree with the person accusing you of racism you can self reflect on it. People are entitled to their feelings and if you make someone feel that way you need to apologize and reflect on it.

I have said and done some pretty racist things in my past, and will likely do some in the future too. I find that being able to own it and reflect on it is the best way to fight bias within myself. I don’t consider myself a racist, but if someone tells me something I did was racist I don’t hide from it either.

I’m not going to get into an argument about the ethics of using emulators, but when companies give consumers no real way to legally purchase their devices they really aren’t doing themselves any favors.

I think it’s close... I can still get my hook kills if I long shot first, hook, then short shot or melee or both. It is a pain though.

I would love to go back to being able to one shot heroes, but the new gun isn’t useless. The DPS is the same you just have to connect more shots to achieve it. I’m hoping the new buff will be enough to make him viable again because he’s my go to in a bad comp.

Monuments have nothing to do with history. They are about veneration. A monument to someone means that is someone we hold in high regard for their notable achievements and would like to celebrate them.
