Nope. That’s super ageist. People should lose their licenses when they can’t pass a driver’s medical/driver’s test. If their eyes are good, if they have mobility, if they have good reactions, and good cognitive function, then they can pass a driver’s medical.

Officer got out of his car. If you’ve ever walked across railway tracks you know that he was aware of the car being on the tracks.  They then walked the victim back to the cruiser and put her in it and then back to her car.  That's two more trips across the tracks.  They absolutely were aware the cruiser was parked on

First: It is not possible to analyze patterns and behaviours independently of social constructs because behaviours are social acts. Second: ML isn’t getting anywhere without massive datasets to train on, and all of that data is completely tainted by social constructs.
In most things, I’m pro AI/ML, but it needs to be

Even fast food workers know not  to park on railway tracks.

Counterpoint, if you’re dumb enough to park on the tracks, you’re probably dumb enough to want to be a cop.

This shit is downright evil. And it shows that they’re always expecting no accountability, because that plan is just too dumb, but these officers still went ahead and did it. It’s like they know anything they do will be treated as a whoopsie.

Three officers conspired to commit murder? Another day in American policing. They will be found to be completely lacking in responsibility for this as it was the suspect’s fault for being detained in the first place and the American police death penalty doesn’t care about the offense.

We do have at least one answer:

That’s not necessarily true. It’s also possible that they pocketed 90% of the money raised by taxpayers, or that they pocketed 90% of the money donated by the PR department of an international company with a factory nearby. We needn’t leap to conclusions here!

For me it’s the Lotus Super 7. It’s motoring purity.

My choice is going to be completely emotionally driven: the 1969 Lotus Europa. My dad bought one in 1973 and kept it right up to his passing in 2021. I’m now effectively its custodian even though its still in his old garage. But it was his pride and joy. How could I not choose it?

Personally favourite is the F Type Jaguar I own, but if I was going into fantasy garage territory then Eagle’s Lightweight GT restomod Jaguar E Type would be right up there.

The most consequential of all was undoubtedly the Mini.

To be fair, I’m sort of trolling you all today. This was just too good not to share.

Jaguar E-Type Series I, and nothing else comes close:

Mini Cooper, without a doubt, and that is since I was a kid. I even had that car to use with my Scalextric track.

Jaguar E-Type, just so gorgeous.

This reminds of the Chinese building where the facade just completely fell off and the one where the guy started tearing apart concrete with his hands. It doesn’t matter how carefully the civil engineers did their sums if corrupt builders skimped on materials and pocketed the construction budget

I always thought these were pretty timeless styling masterpieces and Mercedes’ styling peak. The R129 was the last holdout of both Sacco’s fantastic design language and Mercedes’ overbuilt standard of the world engineering at the time before they went full in on cost cutting. Even with the six, nice price.
