Saving that for the big season two finale!
Saving that for the big season two finale!
If he stole for "giggles" you'd have a point worth discussing.
That isn't in anyway supportable. There was no profit in it for him. This is a kid who walked away from billions of dollars as a computer genius and turned his attention toward activism. Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with what he did, you can't pretend it was about personal gain.
I never really understood the only six months in prison angle. Most of us who have never been in lockup would be terrified by the thought of six months in prison. I would be.
Do you know anything about him? There was a specific reason he tapped JStor. It was an issue regarding open access to the accumulated body of knowledge. If you are interested in someone who hacked something akin to "Haliburton or Citi or BP," you might be interested in Jeremy Hammond. He got 10 years for hacking…
Unbearably Overwrought: The Armond White Story.
And that is exactly the appeal they played up in pushing SOPA. Who wants piracy? Right? Unfortunately, the bill went way beyond legitimately protecting people like artists. As bigwhale pointed out, the bill was mostly pandering to the interests of media conglomerates.
Exactly. Sadly, there is a belief that much (if not all of SOPA) is in the super-secretive Trojan Horse that is the TPP. The giant corporations might not have lost the SOPA fight yet.
I boggles my mind that Community and TGW could be anyone's two favorite shows. It is hard for me to imagine someone with sensibilities that could lead there.
I liked Community, but nothing from this past season rates with a couple of great Breaking Bad episodes. That said, Cooperative Polygraphy was quite good. I might give a nod to Analysis of Cork-Based Networking.
The best episode of any TV show I saw this year was Sakizuke from Hannibal. By a long mile.
TGW isn't even a good legal drama. It's a ridiculous soap opera, laden with superficial social issue addresses, and dominated by crappy dialogue and silly romantic diversions. A bigger waste of talented actors I've rarely seen. But it is packaged as prestige drama and fawned over so passionately by some that it…
I'm was pulling hard for Community here, largely because I hate The Good Wife with hot passion. TGF epitomizes everything I hate about network prestige TV.
Lindelof's involvement gives me pause, but based on this review I'll give it a whirl. If I get Lost in the Ass, though, I'll be pissed.
If someone would get around to putting a live action Popeye on the screen again, it could be both. I'd love to see Popeye reimagined with a gender flip. Amy as Popeye. I'll nominate Zach Woods for Oliver Oyl and Roseanne Barr for Brutus.
I guess it is just a perspective thing, but I've been fascinated by it since episode one. Quality has had its ups and downs, but I've never been bored by it. You aren't the first I've seen with that reaction though.
Diametric opposite? So it's more like a shark jumping the show.
Natalie Morales is hot. That is all.
So you've never said something sucks without fully explaining the reasons you think something sucks? You must be a lot of fun at parties.
Super Wario, I believe.
