I disagree on the issue of how season 3 ended. It was wobbly down the stretch, and I sincerely doubted they'd be able to salvage it. But Introduction to Finality was one of the very best episodes of the entire run. It was a perfect ending to a good, but slightly uneven, season. And it would have been a great and

Personally, I don't think shit was ever that funny. Community, however, is creative, rewarding, and hilarious.

He's trying to say that high concept has a specific meaning, and that it was misunderstood/misused in the review. And he's right.

Yeah. I caught that too. It seems counterintuitive in some ways, so I guess that is why the term gets misused. But the review got it 180 degrees wrong. High Concept most definitely describes BBT more than Community.

In some ways, Fox News is the Downton Abbey of news programs.

Thomas got the crap beaten out of him, I think. Which I admittedly enjoyed.

YES!!!

PBS News Hour is probably the best news show on television.

That's what is funny about it. After a reasonably solid start, the show became nothing more than a guilty pleasure. And there isn't anything wrong with a guilty pleasure. But because it is British and it taps into a historical vibe, people act like it a great show.

Season 3 was just awful. In addition to your criticisms, all of which I agree with, I was pissed at what they did to Tom Branson. Jesus Christ, how quickly did he abandon all his ideals and embrace the aristocracy that he so hated? The only real moral counterpoint character on the show was simply assimilated. I

I've yet to watch season 4, but I definitely have a love/hate relationship. I'll keep watching, because I'm invested. But I've never seen a show take such a swift and steep nosedive after a good first season. And I hate that. So I watch to see what happens next, but I'm constantly fighting the voice in my head

I think the problem with Mary is that she is a horrible person, but the show proceeds as if she's not.

I agree that this was a good start. Given the task at hand, I think Repilot was pretty strong. I'd give it a B+, for sure. I really liked Introduction to Teaching, but I get your point about petering out down the stretch. A-, I guess. In any event, I'm greatly encouraged by the start of this season. I'm in the se

I get that they did Basic Rocket Science. But I'm talking about Nick's idea of a classic made-for-TV movie extension of a TV series. I like the gang in space in that vein for 2015 audiences. For real.

Sounds like you might have changnesia.

Greendale in Space.

CGI characters don't age.

Too late. I went ahead and did it. I'll let you know what's playing down here once I get settled.

I used to be an alcoholic and I was hilarious. Now that I'm sober, though, memories of the old me seem substantially less hilarious.

Stay home and smoke. Smoke A LOT. Years from now you'll tell a great story about freezing in Grant Park on New Year's Eve at midnight. And you'll believe it!
