I'm considering watching the movie New Year's Eve . . . then committing suicide at the stroke of midnight. My only fear is that Hell is real . . . and New Year's Eve will be playing there continuously for eternity.

I might watch this game, in the hope that Duke humiliates Johnny Manziel in some way. Also, I like chicken sandwiches. So there is that.
Yessir. It isn't as good as Duke's basketball team. But it's less rapey than the Lacrosse team.
Epitaph: Low Winter Sun set behind the Detroit skyline. And nobody cared.
It wouldn't have been fake. I booed.
I watched. And liked. Not on the AV Club payroll, . . as far as I know.
Number 2 In The Bath Water sounds like the next reality big hit on TLC.
I know. I felt bad about it. But felt like I had to pull the trigger anyway.
TBS, Barely Funny.
I just pitched a tent.
The Killing Moon is probably my favorite song . . . period.
Christ, YES! I was astonished when I read that Kelly wanted a different song in that spot. Like you, I avoid the director's cut.
"This is obscene," I said, in reaction to today's Wall Street assholes.
A "D+?" Anne Frank is spinning in her grave.
I'd never heard of it until I saw a ton of commercials for it on Christmas Day. It looked putrid. So I am quite surprised to see positive comments at AV Club. I guess I'll give it a try.
I have really fond memories of The Great American Fourth of July and Other Disasters. I saw it several years before my first viewing of A Christmas Story, but haven't seen it since it aired on public television thirty or so years ago. It just kind of disappeared.
And then I remembered . . . Diner. Another kind of a Christmas movie movie. And I give Diner the nod over Go.
Thanks. I'll look for her next time.
The Vampire Diaries became great again? I'm sorry, but the Vampire Diaries has never been great. It was (and occasionally still is) an enjoyable romp. It's never been much more. And that comes from a regular viewer.
I don't even remember her in Slap Shot. Who was she?
