With the exception of Pratt, this is just a great cast choice honestly.

I love Glover and recently got into Waller-Bridge’s schtick after finally watching Fleabag. I don’t think it will be as sexy as Pitt and Jolie, but I totally see em making me roll on the floor out of breath. And in my book, that has sold me on it.

If we go in the timeline after The Rise of Skywalker, I would like to pull a Mandalorian and bring in Kaz and Tam from Resistance. Both are great pilots, fill the diversity quota (Tam is black and Kaz always seemed Asian to me) and you get your comic relief and distrustful companion in one go. That is 2 characters…

I mean, out of the many Filoni characters to be alive during this period of the galaxy, these make a lot of sense. I’m of two minds:

I would argue that as the wife of Anakin and the mother of Luke and Leia, any Padme centric story is an integral part of the Skywalker story.

She was created as a classmate to Peter that got bit by the same spider after him. But when her powers were discovered, she was hid away because of a profecy that if she meet Peter they would bring up the end of the spider tottem.

I still feel like a big part of Star Wars gets rejected by these games. Sure, I don’t expect EA to get characters like Doctor Aphra in the games anytime soon, but at least some of the animated characters could be in it. Get me Kanan, Ezra, Ahsoka, Thrawn, The Inquisitors... Sure, Kaz from Resistance would be too much…
