There tends to be a trend here where people treat their pets like babies until a baby comes along. Then the dog is pushed aside or in some cases rehomed. My SIL used to send out Xmas cards w her dogs on the cover. Which completely stopped once she had adopted her first child.

I don’t particularly judge him for wanting to rehome. I judge him for trying to get rid of his special needs cat over twitter & then acting like a righteous asshole when he was called out on it. He should care about making sure his cat is taken care of; it was his cat. Oh and Anna Faris got a fine for abandoning a dog…

yeah. It totally came off as “we’re having a baby! Why do you morons think we’d keep our old sick cat when there is a BABY?!” But then to not even go through the effort of finding a home you know the cat will be safe & cared for. What is wrong with him?!

Went about attempting to rehome the cat (old, sick, bathroom problems) in a shitty way because they were having a baby. It’s not so much the situation but he was a total ass about it. Very rude, very self centered.

I think there’s a push to show pot smokers are normal, average people instead of the caricatures most people associate with stoners. I like that people are being more open about it. Reduces the stigma. I see no difference between cracking open a beer or bottle of wine & smoking a bowl at the end of a long day.
