Or wrap them into a beef-and-bacon pie along with some craisins and prunes. (Yes, the recipe calls for raisins. Craisins work better.)

I recently completed the month-long collection process for the very nice man who does the basic janitorial services for our condo building - he also deals with our dumpsters and recylcing bins, so we love him to death as it can be hard to find one firm that will do both. We’re not a huge building, but it totaled up to

I will note that they can - and happily, do - accept cookies.

*Looks at honey-chocolate cake she just glazed and decorated for her favorite restaurant, where they definitely know her and her husband by name*

Squid’s considered seafood - it’s a cephalopod, so closer to shellfish than traditional fish - so I don’t think it’s considered meat.

I noted above - for some reason it helps settle my stomach.  No idea why it does a better job than ginger ale in the air, but it does.

I can’t even begin. I have so many mugs I either love because they fit my hand well - an issue when you have old thumb injuries - or because they’re silly or sentimental.

The salmon was amazing - I think I ate it almost every city we went to (Loch & Fyne has a sampler that was four different cures and was SO fucking good).

I missed those! We stayed up at the big Hilton on North Bridge right by the Royal Mile - hoarding AmEx points to turn into double Hilton Points FTW! - and were across the street from The Scotsman Hotel. Which has the Grand Cafe.  Which had a tidy selection of gins and tonics.  It was an excellent stumble from our
