While he’s recorded a lot of great solos over the years, Purple Rain is probably his best & most memorable. The repeated lick when the falsetto “ooohs” kick in is immediately recognizable.

Never liked that solo... sounds like he’s just scribbling as fast as he can with both hands, without really thinking about what he’s doing.
