and I don’t find broken cars to look any uglier than functional ones

This is the worst CVT take, just repeating stuff you read online a decade ago.

Maybe with occasional licensing deals to sell Chinese electric scooters as H-Ds in the toy department

When I toured DC circa 2004 it was vans identical to these, down to the lights, that were conspicuously parked around the White House. Saw one drive at the bollards on Pennsylvania Ave, only to have them momentarily disappear into the ground, so it could drive around the pedestrian only zone. I assumed they were

Prediction: In 10 years H-D will be a brand owned by Walmart or Target, and will only sell t-shirts, hats & wallets.

I’ve always thought of them more as Monte Carlo, Thunderbird & Eldorado replacements, based on who’s buying them.

Why not both? There’s a lot of police reform that needs to happen

My state has had 40% of all Covid diagnoses in just the last 3 weeks

If the citizens, internal affairs, ACLU etc could focus their supervision on just the NJ State troopers, instead of the 550 individual city police departments too, they might become less cunty...

I chose a new 2013 Altima back in the day over the Accord, Mazda6 or Fusion. The Altima was a much more substantial car, nicer interior, & a better ride. For a daily driver on the highways west of the Mississippi, these are the things that matter to boring adults. $21k for a new midsize sedan that gets 37 MPG with the

Yeah, everyone on Jalopnik is too busy circle-jerking each other over their memory of 2006 Nissan Sentra CVTs that they haven’t bothered to notice that they make a lot of great cars now. Test drive a new Maxima and tell me your $35k sedan is nicer.

I agree with the 2 series 6-speed as a future classic potential, but not the poverty spec. Well-spec’ed cars will always be more collectible.

Interestingly, the speedometer on the Bintelli (don’t let that Italian name fool ya) is the only other thing that’s ever broken.
