I’m going to have to download those and put them on my iPod for when I fly to Germany later this year. Thanks for the tip. :)

I suspected that’s what he meant, but I had never heard that expression before so I wasn’t 100% sure. I mean, it fit the context of the scene. But I can make just about anything into something dirty. :)

Nic Cage was fantastic. “I could eat a peach for hours.” I’m still not 100% sure what it means (cunnilingus?), but his delivery was great. :)

“I like it because it’s more towards who I am in real life,”

Ha! I went to see if there was an animated GIF from Not Another Teen Movie to make the “Hollywood Ugly Girl” joke...

Yeah, I saw him on an episode of Big Bang Theory this past season and he looks and sounds ancient. I still had a big ol’ grin on my face watching that trailer, though. :D I’m looking forward to seeing it.

Yeah, I wish these movies that try to have ‘scary clowns’ in them would stop trying so hard, ‘cause there’s nothing scary about them. The original Pennywise and the clown from Poltergeist were so scary because there was a subtle scary look to them.

Bryant also says that Skarsgård’s Pennywise is “almost like a shadow,” choosing to hide and strike out at his victims rather than luring them in with his brightly colored appearance—which makes sense, given the muted tones of this costume.

An occasional necessary evil that’s politely looked down upon by the rest of the Federation.

I’m really looking forward to this. I liked Mike Colter a lot in Jessica Jones.

Well if Electric Company is the original boot, then the 1977 Nick Hammond show would be the first reboot. There must four total reboots then. :)

Raimi’s movies were the boot, Webb’s were the re-boot, these are the second re-boot.

These larger clunkier ones look like a Spider-Man web shooter toy from ToysRus

I’ve been thinking about framing them and hanging them up.

I always loved all the little details and background references that got put into the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen books. The first time I re-read them with the Jess Nevins annotations up on my laptop at the same time I was blown away. I think I caught maybe a third of the references at best.

I have my original run of the series and my paperback graphic novel for general reading. That’s enough for me. :)

I haven’t seen it, but I’m bummed to hear it was canceled. It sounded like it could be a cool period X-Files type show and it was something I was looking forward to eventually getting to.

Xander? ;)

Wasn’t it also another case of...
