I had to search the page to see if someone posted Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes before I did. Woo-hoo! What a great show (I kind of consider them one single 5-series show). :)

That actually looks pretty impressive. I’ve only ever read the original trilogy. Sword, Elfstones, and Wishsong. The later books felt like cash grabs to me. Are they worth reading? I’ll have to dust off my old paperbacks and read them again for the first time in 30 years.

I came looking for confirmation that that’s what I saw, too. :)

You and me both. :)

I’m just replying to this post since it’s the last one in the thread, but I’m not directing anything I write directly at starscreech.

Brisco County, Jr. - The Motion Picture

My friend and I re-watched Terminator 2 last night and I have a question I want to toss out to the crowd. One of my big problems with the new movie was how the trailer revealed the big twist about John Connor being a Terminator of some kind. I thought that was a big mistake. And I fondly remembered how in Terminator 2

I loved playing Auto Duel on my old Apple computer. :)

Because The Thing is a grower, not a shower?

Yeah, I’ve pretty much resigned myself to the fact the the main reason I will be seeing this movie is my nostalgia for Arnold. I grew up watching his movies in the 80s. And just having Arnold playing his most famous role again gets me a little giddy. But I probably won’t see it opening weekend. Maybe a matinee a week

Ergo...vis-a-vis...concordantly.

For me it was the opposite. I was intrigued by the first trailer and its alternate reality take on the mythology, but the second trailer and its reveal of John Connor as some human/terminator hybrid or whatever he is supposed to be turned me off. My nostalgia for Arnold as the Terminator will probably be enough for me

Yeah, I was a _HUGE_ fan of the movie. I would watch my VHS tape of it annually. Because I was such a huge fan of it, I was on my couch the night the TV show premiered. And I loved the TV show, too. :) But I agree that this meets the criteria of the article. Big comeback. But I don’t agree that the movie was bad. (I

Hai karate! I’ll have to check that out.

When I first saw the episode I thought, “You know, if they were just up front about it and didn’t go all the way and kill the users I’m sure there would have been millions of people willing to sign up for a symbiotic relationship like that. It’s win-win.”

I clicked on the story link just so I could see how far down the comments I would have to scroll before I saw an Adipose. Thanks for making it so easy. :)

Either...

Now playing

Your mileage may vary, but I still would rate them...
