Why does the torque go down around 3500rpm before climbing back up? These charts can often confuse me, but I don’t recall seeing a dip like that.

You mean casino ones or gas station Silicon Valley ones?
It’s funnier the other way around. I am an Englishman living in Canada and when I first met my (now) wife’s parents on their farm in Saskatchewan her dad, over dinner said, “So, you have much trouble with the natives back in England?”
I’m friends with a German geophysicist. He has totally embraced the cowboy look. He will even borrow my pickup on weekends when he takes his wife to country bars.
Now my friends that visit us from below the border all think we live in Hollywood with huge pools and Lambos- but that’s a whole different story.
Turn on the auto translated subtitles and enjoy.
Podunk yahoo America. The first country to have The Bomb. The only country to have gone to the moon. The country that invented the telephone, the television, motion pictures, and even the Internet we’re using right now.
Who knew the Germans were so good at propaganda?
Yeah, something doesn’t compute. A stock Hellcat on street tires does 11.2 at 125. That’s a heavier car with 100 less horsepower.
Yes Yes YES YeEESSS! ArrRRGGGHHH!!! Uh UH UH UHHH Splodge Thwack! Thwack! Twang..plop.

Came here for the automatic knee jerk anti american comment. I’ll be leaving now.
Yeah, one has to assume there was something seriously wrong with the car R&T had. Considering my 420hp car of similar weight can run nearly with it.
That is just pure madness
First generation Viper. It would be interesting to hear about something that could kill you and it would give you enough room to find a second car. Like the Hummer/GT-R.
As a lady that owns 7 firebirds, I have never had a mullet.
Might be unusable, might never be hooned. Nonetheless, gotta hand it to them—they got within 500hp of an insane goal and that motor is pretty damn remarkable. Batshit yes, bullshit no. Devel 1: Jalopnik 0 in this round.
I believe the mullets are more closely associated with the earlier generation models.
I’d say more like 9/16ths (closer to 1/2 than 3/4).
