That whole, moving or moving the universe around you is simple relativity. What is the actual difference of something moving or moving the world around it?

Why is there a Ford in the header of this article?

The noise from an F1 engine, apparently.

Same guys.

I love my turbos! Turbo’d my first car, second car came with one. (WRX)

I don’t what engine that is, but M-B seems to do it well—no noticeable turbo lag in their 4.0 twin-turbo engines. Porsche doesn’t in my vehicle, despite the twin turbos, sad to say.

You bet your ass you can LS swap it. Even if you couldn’t LS swap it, you could still LS swap it. This is the rule of LS swaps.

Lol I figured, as you're one of the normal commenters round these parts.

While I do appreciate the sentiment, I think you might’ve missed the point. There are great cars now and there were crap cars in the past. However, there are no options for a visceral, analog driving experience as it stands now, and that’s the point. If I can buy a motorcycle that has the same things in mind, why

I’ve driven plenty of older cars and plenty of newer cars. I don’t think I agree with you at all. I dislike driving older cars for what they lack more than what they have. I’m not talking aux inputs, touch screens, powerful 12 speaker stereo’s or digital gauges. I’m talking about 4 wheel anti-lock disc breaks, power

Last I checked a base ATS 2.0T with a stick is still $36k with no options?

I feel like this would definitely be a case of thinking: “yeah, I could totally kick his ass!” And then if it ever came down to it, you would just get the shit kicked out of you and he would walk away with the girl, laughing.

Pretty much any 3er or 5er with the base interior, even in the US, feels pretty subpar and not luxurious. I had a pleather 3 series rental in Toronto a few years ago and a pleather 528 rental when my car was in the body shop and both felt about as good as the seats in a NY taxi (minus the bodily fluid stains).

Doug,

I wish there were “regular” version of luxury cars. I would gladly go for a cheaper, less posh version of a 3 Series/5 Series/C-Class/E-Class/XF/ATS/CTS/etc

This. And it looks like Rexy up there completely forgot about the part of the story that mentions pre-maintenance and how even that didn’t prevent the fuel pump from crapping out.

His palms are sweaty, ball joint’s weak, his tire shreds like spaghetti.

I’d like to join your Rance culture, bro. #Rance4Lyfe!

Gonna have to agree with this. I’d never heard of “stance” culture before. But the modifications being made are the exact same sort of things people have been doing since (at the very least) the early 70’s. There’s even a hit song about it.
