It is a beautiful machine, but as much as I would like one I do not think it is right for me. Now if they'd mount the retina display onto the larger bodied (legacy) version, I would be all over it. I could then swap the optical drive for a SSD for the OS and programs, use the HDD for storage of media files and

Well then you wouldn't last a day in the Marine Corps. All the cadences about Jody. All the lectures from your drill instructors. All the trash talk from your fellow young devil dogs. All the phone calls back home to a chick who you thought you were in love with, but now sounds distant and evasive... And then you

So the nazis knew about Jody and they knew about war profiteers on Wall Street. How is this "horrible?"

Well if you look at the Breastfeeding in Combat Boots blog that was linked, you'll see that her complaint is that there is no official, DoD wide, policy for breastfeeding in uniform. I think they'll find that if they press the issue, they might not like the result.

Cool, maybe someday North Korean state TV will publish Kim Jon Un's reading list for everyone who loves the glory of the State.

If the aircraft's registration numbers were legible, we could get a better idea of date. I read N25341, but apparently that belonged to a Cessna that crashed near Florida about 30 years ago.

I've had an original iPad for a few years now and finally broke down to buy a Kindle Touch this week. As Mrorange says, the reflective screen and weight of the heavier tablets will start to drive you crazy eventually. For me, reading off the bright screen also started to fatigue me, and I'd find myself abandoning

I'm hoping that this is explained now that they're finally reaching the prison: "The Walking Dead" is not only not about the zombies, the phrase doesn't even refer to the zombies. "The Walking Dead" refers to the survivors.

In an interview Kirkman says that a lot of her reaction could be interpreted as her taking out her anger at her own missteps on Rick, who ultimately had to take care of a deadly problem that she created. So he's aware that there is some internal conflict with his character, that Lori is cognizant of her role in

In the books she's a generally likeable character and not as much of a screw-up, so when she meets her ultimate fate it is a real shock. But the way she's written in the TV show? I cannot wait for her to meet the same fate as in the books.

I cannot remember which, but one of the trailers shows a control room. The setup looks a lot like a director's trailer, with screens everywhere and consoles for switching from shot to shot and readying replays. I assume, though, that this is also where the Gamemakers control the various events in the arena.

How in the world could you possibly classify this as random? It has been coming since early in season one. As Belladonna77 mentions, in the books the scene where Shane draws a bead on Rick is observed by Carl, who intervenes and saves his father by killing Shane.

Someone has already made a meme photo out of this. "Wants to play housewife during the apocalypse... Can't even keep track of her kid."

There have been many things reported about the casting of Michonne and the Governor. What is new to me with the link is the fact that they're going to include the prison. This should be really good. Hopefully they kill off Lori and the baby at the end of season three. That would be nice.

Do you follow The Walking Dead's Facebook page? Read some of the comments. Look at the number of women who are crying and saying they'll never watch the show because Shane was killed.

That would probably ruin the story. Half of the conflict over all three books are the various plots hatched between either Katniss and Haymitch, or Peeta and Haymitch, or Haymitch and the Quarter Quell tributes, or Haymitch and the rest of the commanders in District 13.

I have this horrible feeling that the film will make her into a superficially complex butt kicking heroine and focus entirely on the love triangle in order to pull in tween girls and sell merchandise.

I'm all about Woody Harrelson as Haymitch. He should be good.

I'm a 28 year old veteran of the Iraq war (Marine Corps; in Iraq from Dec '04 to Dec '05). I had my own issues when I got back, and I know a lot of people (though not enough) diagnosed with PTSD who receive disability for it from the VA. The only way I read through these books is through the PTSD angle.

I completely agree that Katniss is whiny and annoying. She has absolutely zero patience for anyone else and their issues, particularly Haymitch and later Finnick, yet whenever she feels like it she wants people to give her a wide berth and just deal with her drama. That is why I found her insufferable.
