I’m ok with sound tubes... you can enjoy your car without making it obnoxiously loud. Modern cars are very well insulated, making them too quiet inside. Using speakers is just sad though, engineer a better sounding engine.

No that’s ugly and old school. A better solution is the directional turn signals like the ones on Mustangs and Audi A4s.

While I’m not positive, could be a couple things. If it’s matt black, it could be anti-glare and if it’s gloss black, could be an attempt to make it look like a carbon fiber hood.

Black hoods. I have no idea why this trend caught on - it just looks like you tried to go into the garage before the door was all the way up and couldn’t afford to paint your replacement hood.
