The other 99 owners know it too, as the bottom third of their car keeps tickering the news.
What’s really ironic is that the only reason that silver became emblematic for German cars is that the Auto Union racing team wanted to save a few pounds and declined to paint their aluminum cars. So, I sometimes wonder if real Germans scratch their heads when buyers want silver Mercs/BMWs/Audis - especially extra…
Damn, I’m genuinely sorry.
Great, I didn’t know about the German-silver trend. Now it’s all I’m going to see for the rest of my life.
I can’t stop laughing. Have a star.
Who’s ready to ride one of their rockets to Mars?
Their previous cars were Mazdas and a Nissan Leaf - they still have a ‘90 Miata (so at least something that will run when the Teslas won’t). Which was nearly 100% reliable (it got a battery pack under warranty after a warning light lit, but it didn’t affect the drivability of the car at all). This is not a one off,…

Maybe I’m off base here but this sorta shows you the mentality of these reviewers who have nothing at stake, money-wise. It’s not their car. They’re taking it for a joyride and giving their impressions. All these issues the…
My aunt’s Cadillac has the most annoying touch interface for everything, including a stupid slider for volume control- cars are not laptops. They need regular knobs and buttons so you can control them without taking your eyes off the road. That interface is so unpopular I already saw news that it is being redesigned…
I’m sure Tesla has black box logs that can prove the mirror fell off due to driver error.
• While the car was parked, the passenger sun visor was left down and the mirror fell out. Pressed back into place. Hoping it won’t fall out again.

Not sure I follow... what is Tesla “burning” its reserves on? Developing new models and expanding production facilities isn’t reinvesting?
