Mazda builds nice cars indeed, but this infatuation with Dorito time bombs is too funny. Just give us more RWD platforms and you’d be setting yourself apart. Just the Miata is not enough.

I don’t disagree with you, but add the FoRS and it’s right up the price league. I’ve driven two of those BMW hatches, a 116i in Malta and a 120d in Spain and I loved them way more than I’ve ever liked my former 3 sedan. Then again, I am a hatch guy.

That is beautiful! A shame BMW insists that North Americans won’t buy hatbacks. I guess they’ve never heard of VW Golfs, Mazda 3s, FoST/FiST, WRX, etc. With a RWD hot hatch they would certainly offer the market a great choice in driving dynamics. I still prefer the old 1-series hot hatch over the current 2-series…

Try’s blipping the throttle instead. Get your braking done prior to corner entry and then just blip. I find this easier to do than trying to he and toe.
