This is why I don’t worry about safeguarding my consumer data too much. No sense closing that barn door when the horses left decades ago.

i mean yeah? who doesnt love money. plus other than producing anything hes acted in hasnt been that great. like that spy tv show. it had a ton of hype because he was gonna Eddie Murphy it but then like the day after it premiered never saw a peep about it.

RDJ was fantastic in Oppenheimer. He played that role so well, in my opinion.

Now playing

Battle Beyond The Stars (1980) has music by James Horner, art direction by James Cameron, an entire VFX crew of future superstars, and Robert Vaughn, Sybil Danning, and George Peppard as heroic mercenaries.

Yeah, this is a stupid list by someone who clearly hasn’t watched the Corman catalog. The Poe 8 are entirely skippable, while the movies he produced rather than directed in the 70s and 80s are his best, like BBtS, Rock and Roll High School and Deathsport. Also recommend Targets from the 60s. The original Little Shop

don’t feed the troll.

Dancing Village: I immediately thought of the creepy village in Elden Ring with the dancing ladies.

Just because it all dropped at once, doesn’t mean you HAVE to binge it, it just means the folks that want to can. If you don’t want to, don’t. People just want to watch how they want, the vast majority could give less than a single shit if there’s a cultural conversation about it and whether that conversation is hurt

I liked Monarch, but it needed (a) more Kurt Russell and (b) special effects that didn’t look like they were rendered on someone’s basement Windows 95 PC.

All of this. The movies are big, dumb, loud, fun. The series was great.

I agree about it being far better than expected. I almost skipped it because I’ve never been a fan of Godzilla, but I watched it on a whim just because it’s an Appletv+ show, and imo they have knocked it out of the park more times than I ever dreamed possible when it was announced, and I was blown away by how much I

The modern crop of all-weather tires are awesome for people who live in places where winter is not quite cold enough to make full-on winter tires (like Blizzaks, etc.) work. I’m in NW Washington - it’s often 50+ here in the winter, with tons of fain of course. The warmth will make you wear down a pair of Blizzaks down

Hey, I’m not saying INDIVIDUALS don’t love the heck out of H.E.R.B.I.E., and Marvel has turned absolutely forgettable characters into gold before (see the entire lineup of the Guardians, basically). I’m just saying the robot itself ain’t exactly coming out as #1 in the character popularity polls, is all. I’m glad you

An “I’m retiring from Deadpool” statement really didn’t need to include six paragraphs of self-congratulatory pabulum with a number of grandiose claims that seem... a little dubious.

I appreciate the guarantee of quality that comes with the phrase “starring Michael Paré

I love that book. A lot of people will compare it to The Stand. While they share similarities, they are completely different books.

FWIW, almost every show you love gets studio notes. Not all studio notes are bad, in fact many of them are things just like a basic edit pass on a first draft. The trick is you mostly only hear about bad notes.

Man, there seems to be a lot of hyperbole here. “Finally make Windows 11 usable”... Windows 11 is trivially easy.

A: That was a delightful video. Those two are charming together. I needed that today.

Waiting for IO9 to pick up on this. The updates from the trial are really, really bad.
