Are these edited? Some of those movies look like they have to have nudity.

Definitely liking this workspace. The cut on the desk is awesome, in a hyper-functional way. The whole desk is nice, actually. Like the walls too.

@boluke01: For sure. Les deserves props for the way he shot Survivorman, but to say that Bear is somehow a cheater is pretty weak. Regardless of whether or not he has a crew or not, what he does is still impressive.

I'd rather make an audio trigger.

Sweet office. Can't say I'm blown away by his work, though.

@boarder2: Yeah. While letting the guitar hang straight is important, probably the main advantage of a real guitar hanger is that it can be drilled into a stud.

Wave was definitely ahead of its time. My guess is that some of its features are going to start getting worked into Gmail. The ambitious, revolutionary nature of Wave's feature set meant it needed to be a new protocol, but it seems like some of the sharing could be embedded into Gmail-to-Gmail emailing.

While I am unhappy with any action along these lines, it would probably be worth noting in these articles that, according to the Washington Post, prioritization would only be allowed in the mobile space.

I am sad to see Wave go. However, I think we can count on Google gradually adding a lot of Wave's features to Gmail, which will probably be a much more effective means of innovation.

Does anyone think that running Photoshopped pictured with a stupid little "THISISN'TREAL" warning would really stop girls from using the images to create impossible, self-esteem shattering standards of beauty?

@Liam: That has never even crossed my mind. I tried it, and my middle finger started crying.

@dragon:ONE: You might not think so, but it took almost no time using a Logitech Performance MX to make three-button mice feel archaic.

The page turning idea seems like a waste of processing power and a recipe for an unpleasant, laggy experience.

I have trouble believing that OSX is really going to leave us any time in the conceivable future. What I find more likely is that Apple will keeping pushing iOS for the majority of people and that the MB/MBP line will be intentionally marginalized, while the Mac Pro will maintain a desktop OS but be reserved for

@redgin: I keep a Gmail tab open all the time; the smaller footprint is enough utility in itself.

@geolemon: I think it depends on usage. If you are doing, say, coding, then multiple cheaper monitors make sense. However, if you are doing audio/video work, quality supersedes quantity.

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: Agreed. I went with a sub-$200 (on sale) Dell, and part of me regrets it. It's a good monitor, but the colors are far better on my MBP. A non-issue for most things, but a major nuisance with photography work.

@sprale: That is a pretty shallow interpretation of the intended uses of each device.

@talkingstove: Have you ever used a MacBook? I would agree if you are just talking about PC trackpads, which are like a root canal but less productive. Apple trackpads, on the other hand, are fantastic. My Logitech Performance MX is my go-to device, but if I had to chose between a standard two-button mouse and a Magic
