I save all the boxes for warranty, moving, etc. I just purged a whole closet full, but I sure as hell didn’t put them out on the street for people to know what can be stolen.

For SOME boxes yes, but only if they’re for very valuable or difficult to pack items (or things that are used seasonally). As a parent, and somewhat a gadget geek, I would fill a garage with boxes if I wasn’t selective about what I keep.
