I enjoyed Haymitch in the books, casting Woody Harrelson in that role just sealed the love.

A prequel could be terrible, of course, but I would be fascinated by a story that explored Haymitch’s year. We got a little taste of it in the novels, though the movies skipped right over it, and I think that added a lot of depth. Could be equally as emotionally gripping (and certainly as filled with action/suspense)…

Yeah, I’m sort of on board for some prequels. I want to see life inside the other districts. I want to see Johanna’s win. I want to see Cashmere’s win. I want to see the different training methods and arenas. I want to see the story of the hapless Tribute from District 8 who almost makes it and then loses to District…

I am WAY more interested in the prequel that explains how this bat-shit system became viable. Like watch the politics of how Division 1 and 2 decide, sure yes, yes we will sacrifice at least a child every year - sometimes two!
