I hope they haven't forgotten but no doubt they'll want to drag out their latest bad guy for a few more episodes.

Please no

I would have expected a huge backlash from the Sparrows and basically all of Westeros. She literally blew up their main religious center. Imagine someone did that to the Vatican, people would be rabid.

Yeah, I find the absence of a giant white wolf glaring. And disappointing.

And aren't their (sand snakes, dornish) weapons usually poisoned?

Agreed. She wouldn't have to burn the whole country, flying in and torching the castle with dragons would send a much more effective message and remove a nest of enemies in one go.

Symbolically, taking Casterly Rock sounds awesome. Practically, what do they actually have there? Not gold anymore, they broke.

Maybe it's not commonplace. Euron was exiled and wandered exotic lands for years and all that, maybe this is him introducing the technology to Westeros.

Ugh. Unnecessary.

It's the last season, we don't need another big bad when we still have so many others to kill off and an actual story to wrap up. Why do showrunners do this?

I expected a better showing from the Sand Snakes but I am hoping one of them got in a poisoned swipe or two and we get to see that play out.

I would love 25 episodes a season. And some dire wolves, as per books. Damn you, money constraints!

I think it's too big a risk and too many bodies at this stage in the game for Tyrion to pull that.

After the Euron surprise, I am a bit more with Olenna on this Be a Dragon thing.

Ima be so pissed if they kill off the dragons. We've hardly even gotten to know them yet.

Is Ghost dead? I honestly can't remember, though I remember Summer and Shaggy Dog dying.

Curious: in light of your last sentence and the last book, do you regret not stopping?

We should start a Bring Back Bronn campaign

Ok, the stab wound got me, too. People don't always die quick from a gut stabbing but neither to they parkour.

Yeah, they're getting "pretty snow" not "can't find my house" snow.
