Or...hear me out! 195hp, FWD, raised up a little add some extra doors and because Nissan is fancy like that throw in an awesome CVT!!!

Everyone on this site: “I want a fast, stylish-but-not-overstyled, 300-400hp car with RWD, a manual transmission, and relatively analog underpinnings. I also want it for cheap.”

This is like the anti-Supra. Understated instead of over-styled, distinct nods to its heritage. Give it the 400hp TT V6 and a stick, price it in the low-40s to compete with the Mustang GT and undercut the I6 Supra, and you’d have to win hearts and minds of enthusiasts everywhere, right?

Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the car is angled into traffic and the wheel is turned waiting for the opportunity to make the left turn?

Ive been looking for this movie ever since I watched it on youtube with some friends on a whim like 10 years ago! Absolutely fantastic movie. Starts off wild and fascinating and as you said become genuinely touching by the end. I’ll never forget the scene where the older guy(whose name I don’t remember) is able to

I hate myself for actually finding this car fun and quirky but... Nissan Cube

That second clip... brutal. That was absolutely brutal to listen to.

It’s such a one-dimensional, narrowminded, troglodytic notion of car enthusiasm too. Mashing the ‘Go pedal’ and going fast isn’t the only way to appreciate cars.

Don’t come here with your “facts” asshole. Texas votes for Republicans because we don’t need facts. We go with our gut instinct. You can’t find that in any science book or “meteorology” report. Why? Because we aren't scared of meteors.

The Mid Night club in Japan had a code... should anyone die as a result of their high-speed actions, they would disband the club immediately.

Unfortunately, such an incident came to pass, but they stuck to their word. The club, and the high-speed antics, ceased immediately. A few stragglers tried to get it going again,

This is from my travel journal, Morocco, 2009:

Second gen Fits are peak Fits. Like the Element though they have a certain fanboy price surcharge. You can get a 2010ish second gen for $5000 but it’ll have decent miles on it.  The first gens have problems with water leaks. They’re more basic than the second gens too.

My girlfriends dad did the Nova to DC commute for years in a kia amanti that had its entire side erased and only fixed enough to open the doors and see the mirror.

Dignity? This is the writer who drove around for months with only high beams, because he couldn’t be fucking bothered to do the right thing.

My 65 VW Bus

575 was a better 550. I wouldn’t kick either out of bed.

Two jobs ago, on my first day, I was getting the tour of the office, and the devices I was supposed to support. We go into one of the printer rooms; and the corner, on a shelf of the table supporting the printers is this really old IBM DOS PC.

The Corolla is 700lbs (30%) heavier than the Yaris, and I bet you twenny dollars that when they say “same drivetrain” they actually mean “a watered down version of the drivetrain that is front-wheel drive and makes less power.” Also they’ll only do it as a sedan. Mark my words.

Bianco Cervino over red interior. Arrives in April. Cannot wait.
